2026/2027 Program year INFORMATION

*Down to Earth Co-op elementary and middle school home education instructional enrichment programs which operate on the same day, at the same location. All information below applies to both prorgrams.

Our program is designed as a complete instructional enrichment day rather than a series of individually selected à la carte  classes. Students participate in a cohesive sequence of instructor-led lessons that work together to support their family’s homeschool education. Students attend scheduled instructional sessions on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., during which a variety of subjects are taught through an integrated, hands-on learning approach. All instruction is presented from a Biblical worldview. Families remain responsible for their child’s overall homeschool education in accordance with Florida homeschool law.

DURATION:

Enrichment day will run for 28 Mondays beginning September 14th, 2026 and ending May 17th, 2026.

Program hours: Monday from 9:00am to 3:00pm

LOCATION:

John Trudel Community Center within Dan Witt Park

4521 NE 22nd Ave, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064

INTERVIEWS AND APPLICATION STATUS

As part of our application process, families whose applications appear to be a good fit will be contacted by email or text to schedule a brief, informal interview so we can get to know one another. Completion of the interview is required for acceptance, and applications will not be approved if an interview is not scheduled or completed. Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance, as enrollment is limited and space constraints may prevent us from accommodating all applicants.

Interviews will be held at a local park, and families are encouraged to bring all of their children—even those not applying—since siblings are always welcome at our Friday park play dates. All families will be notified of their application status via email as soon as possible, and we appreciate your patience during the review process.
